Dr. Lee Sheldon was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. He received his B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and then graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
After a general practice residency at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he then practiced at the Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sheldon received his graduate certificate in periodontics from the University of Connecticut. His continuing education has concentrated on dental implants and cosmetic and reconstructive periodontics.
Dr. Sheldon is the director of the Brevard Study Club, a continuing education program for over thirty-five dentists and laboratory technicians, and is the southeast regional advisor for its parent organization, the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Sheldon has served as president of his synagogue. A sought-after public speaker and lecturer, Dr. Sheldon was host of a weekly health and medical television program, Check-Up, for over eight years.
Dr. Sheldon and his wife, Eleanor, have three children.
